Our Binondo Trip

It was payday Friday for me and my colleagues. We originally planned to go to Ma Mon Luk for Chinese food and Globe for fresh lumpia in Quiapo, but God has a better plan. The restaurants were already closed by the time we got there. Our tummies wouldn't settle for any fast food combo meal, so we decided to explore Chinatown in Binondo. Though it was already 9pm, both sides of the streets were still full of parked cars by customers who were eating in Ongpin. We roamed around the streets of Chinatown and looked for a Chinese restaurant with a very nice ambiance to give ourselves a delightful treat. And then we saw a restaurant with Peking duck/chicken, we ate at Lucky Rainbow Seafood Restaurant. I must say, their food was really really good! It was worth every penny.

How I wish for the government to restore the beauty of Manila. If only those old architectural buildings and infrastructures were maintained, maybe we could have seen Manila in a different way.
