Our Binondo Trip

It was payday Friday for me and my colleagues. We originally planned to go to Ma Mon Luk for Chinese food and Globe for fresh lumpia in Quiapo, but God has a better plan. The restaurants were already closed by the time we got there. Our tummies wouldn't settle for any fast food combo meal, so we decided to explore Chinatown in Binondo. Though it was already 9pm, both sides of the streets were still full of parked cars by customers who were eating in Ongpin. We roamed around the streets of Chinatown and looked for a Chinese restaurant with a very nice ambiance to give ourselves a delightful treat. And then we saw a restaurant with Peking duck/chicken, we ate at Lucky Rainbow Seafood Restaurant. I must say, their food was really really good! It was worth every penny.

How I wish for the government to restore the beauty of Manila. If only those old architectural buildings and infrastructures were maintained, maybe we could have seen Manila in a different way.

Twenty Five

My parents' silver wedding anniversary was a success! We weren't really planning for something grand, but people helped us to make this day possible. It also became an instant reunion with our relatives, former office mates, and my grade school and high school friends.

I would also like to thank our relatives and family friends for taking time in witnessing my parents' special day, my minions who helped me organize this event, and most of all, Fr. Jun Sescon, thank you for making this day special.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! :)

Purple Haze

I was invited to host a wedding last month at Paradiso in Cavite. The couple were my boyfie's family friends. I was kinda hesitant to take it because it was my first time to do hosting. With all of my guts, I did the script and the program. Whew! I was happy that it ended well. (Or should I say better than I expected?! haha!)

Did you notice my make-up? i really love how it looked like! It was airbrushed by the make-up artist. It was my first time to try "airbrush" make-up. It lasts for hoursssss! It's really great and it doesn't smudge.

Next week, my parents will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. We will be having a mini-wedding for the renewal of their vows. I'm really happy and grateful to have them both!
